終於剃了個大光頭。耳朵頭頂涼颼颼的，想事情的時候沒辦法用手指捲著頭髮幫助思考了。最大的好處是洗頭方便多了。現在老公回家第一件事，就是洗了手跑來摸摸我的光頭說：「小光頭，我回來啦。」
拼命吃了幾天，血球總算是過關了。第二次的化療，用的是新裝設的人工血管，比從手臂打要舒服多了。上次手臂打化療的地方到現在都還痛，黑色的痕跡依稀可見。
醫院裡等著做化療的病人絡譯不絕、形形色色。一個中年女人從醫師的診查室出來，臉上的淚痕還沒乾，她坐到靠窗的位置，瘦弱的雙肩在輕輕的抖動著，很想走過去安慰她，但也許她現在更需要的是安靜的調整她的心情。對面坐著一對男女，女人無力地靠著男人，男人百般體貼的一會摸摸女人額頭，一會摩擦著她的雙手，就算是病魔，也奪不走他們這一刻的幸福。有一位老先生，鼻子插著管，臉色鐵黑著，目光炯炯的看著我，我對他笑了一下，他還是沒有表情。還有一些脖子上蓋著紗布的，提著尿袋的，坐著輪椅的，大部份是由晚輩陪著來的老人家，像我這樣由長輩陪著來的並不多見，真高興爸爸媽媽的身體都還這麼健康。
我的主治醫師人非常好，雖然是大家口中的名醫，卻完全沒一點名醫的架子，只要我有任何突發狀況，隨時都可以電話連絡得到他。臨走時，他拍拍我的肩膀說：「辛苦了，要加油啊！」讓人感到非常溫暖。接著又是一波的暈眩、惡心、不舒服，握著手中的十字架，只願我一夜安枕。
