娟告訴我，她愛上了一個已婚的男人。在這個快速發展的紊亂社會中，這種情形早已被視為一種很常見的社會現象，但對於身為基督徒的她來說，我可以了解那是怎樣的一種心理煎熬。
娟本身的條件並不差。她獨立、聰慧、敏感、纖細，有一份良好的職業，不低的薪資，而且心地善良。他們是在工作的場合認識的。男人一開始就不曾提及自己的婚姻狀況，一直到彼此產生某種情愫後，娟才恍然大悟。她流著淚對我說，她一點都不想傷害另一個女人。但她卻總會在夜半無人的時候，想起他的種種溫柔，也會在假日的時候，忍不住撥打他的手機號碼，只為了想聽聽他的聲音。但對方總是在電話那頭吱唔其詞，或干脆狠心的說一聲打錯了，就匆匆把電話掛斷。
再多的眼淚也改變不了這個既定的事實，他是個已婚的男人。男人也曾在萬般繾綣之後，訴說著他對她的喜愛，並信誓旦旦的說會設法解決那段無味的婚姻帶給他們的阻礙。但是日子一天天的過，娟的青春就這樣無聲無息的流逝過去。她不是沒有想過嘗試結交其他的朋友，但幾次下來，只覺得曾經滄海難為水，除卻巫山不是雲。
愛情到底是個什麼東西？是烈燄是激流是甜美還是苦澀？為什麼愛情在男人心中燃燒的時間總不若女人般長久呢？為什麼愛情總要在現實中低頭，臣服於生活的巨浪呢？甚至在上帝的眼中，婚姻以外的愛情都只是屬於撒旦的試煉。澆不熄的慾念要如何才能歸於平淡？我沒有答案給娟。
也許時間能給她答案，但卻要用青春來償還。人們所能做的，也只有咬緊牙關，把生活一步一步的推向前，然後期待在路的前方，出現另一線曙光。
