昨天晚上體力精神都不錯，於是前往婆家準備跟孩子們共進晚餐。一進門，就看見兒子坐在地上拼一個叫做「長久工程智慧片」的東西，令我驚訝的是，他居然拼出了一座結構精密的長橋。他興奮的大叫：「媽媽，媽媽，你等一下喔，我拼一座溜滑梯給你看！」什麼時候，我的小寶貝已經變成了一個心手靈巧的工程師了？孩子們的智力真是不容小觑。女兒一見到我，就膩到我身邊，那股甜蜜的勁，讓人只想一把抱住她不放。女兒也長大了，用成熟的語法跟哥哥進行著對話，三歲的她，注音符號跟十以內的加減法，居然都能不假思索的給一個正確答案。在時間流逝的過程中，孩子們正以驚人的速度成長著。
晚餐後，孩子們開始吵著要跟我回家。因為兩個小傢伙都還有點感冒，大家擔心會傳染給我，並不贊成孩子們跟我回家，但我實在太想他們了，考慮了老半天還是在孩子們的歡呼聲中一起回家。我們手牽手走在微涼的秋夜裡，抬頭數著微弱的點點星光，我的內心是如此的澎湃感慨，臉上掛著滿足的微笑，眼裡卻有淚水在打轉。他們的小手緊緊的握住我的，我們就這樣乘著歌聲的翅膀一路開心的回家。
睡覺前我給他們講了故事。給孩子們講晚安故事是我以前每晚必做的事，從三隻小豬到小人國遊記，從醜小鴨到穿長筒靴的貓，他們總要在童話驚險的故事中得到一個圓滿的結局後，才能帶著微笑安然入睡。在這久別的幸福夜晚，看著他們天使般的沉睡臉孔，我的世界裡，沒有什麼比這更珍貴。
