今天到醫院抽血，除了肝指數仍然固執的在不正常的範圍內盤旋以外，還多了一個問題，白血球出奇的低。白血球的正常值一般是在3900~9900，而我從化療開始到現在，最低一次也不過是2500左右，沒想到今天卻掉到只剩下七百多，醫生決定連續三天幫我打血球生成素。
另外，今天還是個節日，是萬聖節。兒子在今年學校的萬聖節化裝派對上，扮成穿黑斗蓬的魔法師，而女兒則身穿夢幻般的漂亮翅膀，頭戴亮晶晶的光環，扮成小仙女，可惜我因為要到醫院檢查，沒辦法去孩子的學校跟他們同樂。這是我上週末精神還好的時候去幫他們挑的造型服裝，買回家給他們穿戴起來，看凱凱披著斗蓬在屋子裡衝過來衝過去，芊芊在鏡子前邊照鏡子邊假想自己是蝴蝶裝模作樣的飛翔，我真是樂壞了，他們說有多可愛就有多可愛。
就在孩子們快樂的在學校享受節日童趣的同時，我在醫院看到了幾個小朋友。醫院有個房間，是專為兒童設計的，裡面不但有許多故事書，還有各式各樣的布偶跟益智玩具，整個房間都是由慈善人士捐贈的。義工阿姨正陪著幾個小朋友在看故事書，其中一個小朋友光頭，一個頭髮稀疏，一個不良於行。這是一所癌症的專門治療醫院，三個孩子應該都是病友。我站在窗口凝視了他們很長一段時間，他們的年齡都比凱凱大不了多少。這個世界給他們的印象到底是什麼呢？稚嫩的生命在尚未體驗到深刻的歡愉之前，就得先認識何謂痛苦，並懵懵懂懂的去接受生命給他們的試煉，這到底又是為了什麼呢？
有時，人的幸與不幸，竟是這樣的涇渭分明。
