I could never imagine my beloved Red Sox is rolling like this!
bullpen 8 hitless innings? Yanks only scored 4 runs in 3 games? Manny outplayed A-Rod? WOW! Although you can argue it is only April, but everybody should know SOX have 2 big guns down as well as the fifth starter. It wouldn't make any SOX fan happier to see GS start making panic moves or maybe issueing pink slips. Whoever GS will PURCHASE, I have more confidence than ever SOX is going to prevail this year!
Sorry can not type chinese..

MAY 30, 1938 AT YANKEE STADIUM
Before a crowd of 83,533, the largest in Yankee Stadium history, Sox pitcher Archie McKain hits Yankees outfielder Jake Powell with a pitch. Powell charges the mound but is intercepted by Sox player-manager Joe Cronin. Powell and Cronin exchange punches for several minutes (far left), then continue the fight beneath the stands. Both players are fined and suspended for 10 days.

Sox outfielder Jimmy Piersall and Yankees second baseman Billy Martin exchange insults before the game, then get into a fight in the tunnel beneath the stands that is broken up by Boston pitcher Ellis Kinder and New York coach Bill Dickey. The two had exchanged barbs at a recent series in New York, and this time it got out of hand. Once under the stands, Piersall asks Kinder to hold his hat, then absorbs two quick punches from Martin before the fight turns into a clinch. Piersall returns to change his bloody shirt in the clubhouse, then rides Martin with insults from the bench for the entire game (left).

After Yankees pitcher Thad Tillotson hits Sox third baseman Joe Foy in the head with a pitch, Boston pitcher Jim Lonborg retaliates by hitting Tillotson in the shoulder on the first pitch of his next at-bat. On the way to first, Tillotson threatens retaliation again on Lonborg, which brings Foy across the diamond, saying, "If you want to fight, fight me." Joe Pepitone leads the charge out of the Yankees dugout as his good friend, shortstop Rico Petrocelli, leads a charge of Sox players into the melee (left). Petrocelli’s brother, a Bronx police officer, helps restore order on the field. Lonborg, who threw 170 pitches in an 8-1 complete-game victory, later says, "I have to protect my players."

AUG. 1, 1973 AT FENWAY PARK
With the game tied, 2-2, in the top of the ninth and Yankees catcher Thurman Munson on third, batter Gene Michael botches a squeeze play, which leaves Munson barreling down on Sox catcher Carlton Fisk. Munson crashes into Fisk, is tagged out, and then Fisk kicks him off while trying to keep an eye on another runner. Punches start flying, first between the rival catchers, and then between Fisk and Michael, as the benches empty and a wild brawl ensues lasting 10 minutes. Somehow Michael is not tossed out of the game but again fails to deliver the runner, and the Sox win in the bottom of the ninth. Sox pitcher Bill Lee says to Fisk after the game: "I can see by the scratches on your face you’ve been in a fight with Gene Michael."

MAY 20, 1976 AT YANKEE STADIUM
Again a brawl is precipitated by a Yankee runner crashing into Fisk, this time outfielder Lou Piniella. "I was in a bad position, on my knees," says Fisk after the game, "and all of a sudden his elbows are in my head. Then he started kickin’ and whalin’, so I hit him." And hit him he does, right in the face with the ball. In the melee that ensues, Yankees third baseman Graig Nettles bodyslams Lee to the ground, and Lee sustains a separated shoulder. For the rest of the game, Yankees fans hurl bottles and other objects at the Sox, leading Don Zimmer to wear a batting helmet out to his third base coach’s box position.

In the top of the fourth in Game 3 of the AL Championship Series, Pedro Martinez hits New York’s Karim Garcia in the back of the shoulder with a pitch. Tempers flare when Garcia slides hard into Todd Walker at second later in the inning, and Martinez makes a menacing gesture to the Yankees bench, pointing at his head. In the bottom of the inning, a Roger Clemens pitch sails high – but not particularly close – to Manny Ramirez, who takes exception anyway and charges the mound with bat in hand. A benchclearing brawl follows, during which Yankees bench coach Don Zimmer charges Martinez, who throws the 72-year-old to the ground.
