Hi Red Sox

 

Thank U 4 the kind words....   I have a friend who drops by occaisionally who translates, but I make  a point of not putting him to work, so I resort to a translator.    The translator isn't always accurate, but gives me the general flavor of the discussion.

 

I was initially made to 'feel at home' by Bozeman and his gracious invitation for me to join Paowang, and then one of your members posted an image of himself  waving and welcoming me to this site, I was impressed by that to no end, this really made me feel particularly  welcome.  Forgive me I can't remember his name, but his gesture is one of real class, maybe you remember who it is.

 

Sharing the images after a time, really wipes away any concern about not being able to speak Chinese, in fact, I no longer think of this as a Chinese site,  I think of this as a site w/a lot of good and great images by some serious lovers of photography, and that's as it should be.

 

I've been a serious photographer for 42 yrs. now, and do this because I love it, so I appreciate others who love it, I consider anyone on my side of the world and in your neighborhood  who loves this thing we do, as brothers and sisters. 

 

I don't always comment, but I look at the images here for inspiration, and there's nothing more fun than seeing something here  I hadn't thought of before, even if it's something small that happens to be in a bad photograph.   I'm into risk taking, I think you grow that way, and there is a lot of risk taking here.
