Good afternoon

 

From my hobby of stacking playing cards as high as I can to pass the time, I've done the same with these magnifiers, I've leaned two magnifiers against each other forming an 'A' shape, and a magnifier at the end of this facing the lens.  I've placed a compass on top of the magnifiers.The camera is almost on the floor looking up at the subject matter.  

 

I've always been fascinated with how the shape of things are distorted behind a magnifier.

 

I've called this shot 'Radius'.

 

The second image is obviously three jars and two magnifiers and is called 'Three Jars'.

 

While my first love is portraiture, I really enjoy shooting 'still life', because your subject matter will obviously stay put, not move, and you can take your time to get the shot right.
