简介：The Hampdens是一支澳洲3人组合，由Susannah Legge (vocals)、Gavin Crawcour (guitar/bass)、Jules Hewitt (keys)组成，2002年创建于西澳洲珀斯（Perth, Western Australia），现在常驻墨尔本。

乐队名字取自Donna Tartt处女作小说《The Secret History》里的Hampdens学院（小说讲述的是一伙大学生掉进邪

教陷阱的悬疑故事）。

The Hampdens曾与Ben Lee, Evermore, John Mayer, Ray LaMontagne, Thirsty Merc, Sarah Harmer, george,

Rob Thomas, Missy Higgins等艺人表演过。2003年8月，他们独立发表了首张EP《Brightness Falls》，在两周内

就卖光了第1批唱片。2004年5月，SONY公司发行了他们第2张EP《Even World》。2005年8月，由独立厂牌Rubber

Records发行了第3张EP《So Young It Hurts》 。

2008年5月，The Hampdens发表了首张专辑《The Last Party》。
