I did not Photoshop this shot, it was made with film. It's simple a plastic magnifier sitting on top of a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses sitting on brushed aluminum. If you play with a magnifier by sitting it up at a slight angle, you can get similar light patterns.

The illusion is that there's a 'road of light' going under the glasses, and again, it's the opposite, the glasses are under the magnifier, and the light pattern is traveling along the fresnel pattern of the magnifier which is on top.
