with Gimp::fu module, you can write your own productivity scripts to automate the Gimp. The corresponding tool on Photoshop costs $ and Gimp::fu is GPLed.

my laptop is dual-boot, I switch between xp and rh from time to time. anyway, ch input is not of high priority so far, so leave it as it is now :-( thanks :-)
