I think the title of the post is fixed, exactly as how many bytes you type. It looks like the program(viewpage.cgi) that displays the lists of posts has an upperlimit of how long the title should be displayed (18 Chinese characters(?) as Shainese once counted?), and for those longer than that, will be truncated and appended with " ..." Obviously the program(viewpost.cgi) that displays the individual post does not have such limit, so the title gets displayed complete on the page. Guess y...

Desktop最好当然DIY，从主板、电源、风扇、显卡、内存、硬盘、键盘，分别买最适合最好的，然后自己组装最好。显示器看用来做什么了，如果图像处理，还是显像管的吧，三菱索尼19寸以上的都很好。如果做服务器（实验室总得有个吧？），那显卡和显示器就不必那么好了，多余的钱搞个硬盘阵列；至于品牌机器还是Dell，售后服务很好。 PC笔记本，还是首推IBM，主要是性能和稳定，同样的配置，Thinkpad的performance几乎总是最高。如果不怕重（其实也重不了多少），强力推荐Thinkpad的A系列的P规格(P==Professional)；Vaio的主要市场是个...
